  Handsome Walt was transferred to us as an owner surrender from another state. His skin issues were not getting any better, and they had given up on trying to help him. He was scheduled to be euthanized, until we offered to help.

Upon arriving in Dallas, Walt was taken to our Vet, where we saw a very happy-go-lucky Scot, albeit with severe skin problems and very little left of his coat. After some testing revealed no medical problems, Walt was given a long regimen of antibiotics, started on liquid vitamins, and fed a high quality diet.

It wasn't long before we noticed changes with Walt. The itching had stopped, his skin was no longer inflamed, and there was plenty of hair growth!

Today, after several months of quality food and liquid vitamins, Walt's photographs can proudly attest to his skin problems being in his past!!!

Come visit with Walt, and you'll be meeting a great Scottie boy that loves to have fun! Walt is under 3 years of age and is ready to find his "Forever Home".

Walt has had a full medical exam by our Veterinarian, received all necessary vaccinations, and has been neutered and microchipped.

Scottie Kingdom Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization. We prefer to adopt to families with past Scottie, Westie and/or Terrier experience, but realize this isn’t always possible. You must have a secure & fenced yard.

We do not ship our pets. If you have that special place in your heart & in your home for a Scottie (or any of our other available Rescue Dogs), please be prepared to visit us in Dallas for an in person meet & greet session with our Available Dogs. If you have existing pets, they must travel to Dallas with you, so we can be assured that they will be compatible with the new addition to your family.
