~ Toto ~
We spoke with the shelter staff and found out that Toto had recently been chosen, from all of the other dogs at this shelter, to go to a school for disabled children and spend a day with them. When she finished her day with the kids, they had changed her name from a shelter ID number to "Toto", because she was so kind, gentle and playful with all of the children, and they had remembered the famous Toto from the Wizard of Oz movie. They even sent her back to the shelter with a gift - a large stuffed toy - to remember them by.
We couldn't resist bringing this special girl to Dallas to have her heartworm treatment performed and to receive any other medical attention she may have needed.
Toto has now successfully completed the necessary treatment, has been spayed and has received all of her vaccinations and has been microchipped.
This sweet Angel is ready for the move of her life. The move to her forever home!
Toto is just one year old, exceedingly friendly and has been proven to be an appropriate pet around responsible children. She is a beautiful black & gold brindle color
We feel certain that Toto will make an exceptional pet for the right family.
Scottie Kingdom Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization. We prefer to adopt to families with past Scottie, Westie and/or Terrier experience, but realize this isn'’t always possible. You must have a secure & fenced yard.
We do not ship our pets. If you have that special place in your heart & in your home for a Scottie (or any of our other available Rescue Dogs), please be prepared to visit us in Dallas for an in person meet & greet session with our Available Dogs. If you have existing pets, they must travel to Dallas with you, so we can be assured that they will be compatible with the new addition to your family.
